It finds the material
Today's searches, webtoon news and meme formats are gathered fresh each time. Offline, it writes from what it saved.
No drawing, no idea needed · $0 in credits
You do not need an idea and you do not need to draw. Your MacBook Pro makes the story, the art and the speech bubbles. Leave it on overnight and an episode is waiting in the morning.

Why it can be flat
The model that writes and the model that draws both run on your Mac. With no server, there is no meter.
One a day is 30 a month. Three every night on autopilot is 90.

What one switch does
The same order a person works in: find the material, let the plots compete, draw with one face, letter the bubbles.
They are compared in pairs and one is kept

The real app
An episode takes most of an hour, so the app shows everything it is doing while you wait: which of the four steps it is on, the whole run as a percentage, the minutes left, and each panel the moment it is drawn.

Real runs
Run on the reference Mac (Apple M4 · 24 GB) with the default settings. Counts and minutes only; nothing here claims the comics are funny.
Measured on 2026-10-03 and 2026-10-04. Fun and art quality are not claimed in numbers. How we measure →
From one episode to a series
The same characters, the same art style and the same genre carry on. The last ending becomes the next first panel.
A character sheet is drawn once, and every panel of every episode is drawn from it. In couple genres both leads have a sheet.

The last panel ends on a door opening, a line dropping or a notification. The next episode starts on that scene.

How it works
You choose a language and a genre. The genre can be left on automatic.
Press the one Make button. You see how far along it is and how many minutes are left, and a notification arrives when it is done.
Read what was made and keep the ones you like. For those, press next episode.
Page images, a long strip, a vertical video and a caption are ready. Press share.
What is different
It does, in order, what an author does to put an episode out.
Today's searches, webtoon news and meme formats are gathered fresh each time. Offline, it writes from what it saved.
Several drafts are written, edited and compared in pairs. If a first-time reader cannot follow one, it is dropped.
Each panel is drawn twice, and the one that matches the scene better is kept.
Speech in bubbles, thoughts in thought bubbles, the situation in narration boxes, placed on the quiet part of the art.
The first-panel hook, the payoff, the identity reveal, the cliffhanger cut. 25 genres and 277 tropes are mixed.
Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish: rewritten in each language's own voice, not translated word for word.
The cast
A lead that suits the genre is chosen for you and designed fresh for each work. Or describe your own character in words and keep it. Every picture below was drawn by SwitchToon.

Genres it writes
Pick one or leave it on automatic. On automatic, half the episodes blend two genres.
Compared
Beside the two ways people make a webtoon today.
Every model runs on your Mac. That is why there are no credits, and why your work is uploaded nowhere.
The internet is used to fetch material, to check sign-in and subscription, and, if you allow it, to send usage statistics.
Privacy Policy →Made it? Publish it.
SwitchWebtoon publishes only webtoons made with SwitchToon. New episodes go up every day and anyone can read them.
Pricing
On any plan the price is the same however many episodes you make. No hours, episodes or credits are counted.
FAQ
The model that writes and the model that draws both run on your Mac. An episode costs us nothing, so there is no reason to count them.
An Apple silicon Mac (a MacBook Pro is recommended) with 16 GB of memory or more and macOS 14 or later. The models, about 14~21 GB, are downloaded once. With 24 GB or more the app uses a larger writing model, and the scripts get better.
On the reference Mac a cover and 10 panels took 38–51 minutes. It is not an instant tool: you leave it on while you do something else, or while you sleep.
Quiet genres. In the script check, healing and slow-burn romance passed less often than the others. Panels where several figures interact, like a fight, are also redrawn more often.
